COVID Specific Information

  • In order to safely run our sessions under current government guidelines, we have to cap the number of places to 30 people in the hall. this is up to 15 adults and 15 children in attendance to ensure we can promote social distancing throughout the hall.

  • Please note only one adult per child will be allowed to attend the class. The same adult must come with the child for the duration of each terms bookings. This is to maintain a closed bubble of 30 people.

  • Younger non-participating siblings are not counted in the numbers and are welcome to come along this includes babies in slings, carriers, prams and car seats. Please note prams will only be allowed in a specific area of the hall to minimise hazards)

  • Adults will be required to wear a face covering in the hall for the duration of their visit, unless you need to remove it to communicate with your child or have a drink.

  • We will take your contact details at the time of booking so that we can be compliant with test and trace guidelines. 

  • We ask that you use the hand sanitiser at the point of entry for adults and children or if you prefer to use a toddler specific product you may use your own.  We ask that you use our sanitiser periodically throughout your activity time. 

  • People returning from a holiday or local lockdown areas where quarantining is required will not be permitted entry until the relevant time period has passed.

  • We ask that you bring as few personal belongings into the session as possible and, where there is a need to bring items, please use a bag. There will be an allocated space for personal items at the side of the hall, please don’t bring your bags or drinks to the equipment area. 

  • Food is not permitted before during or after the session with in the hall. 

  • All of our equipment is cleaned prior to each session. 

Our activities are based on fun and play, we use multi level and soft play equipment as well as balls, cones, hoops and so much more. Whilst an instructor is present at all times, all children are the responsibility of their parent/carer for the duration of the session and for reasons of health and safety we do ask parents to observe a few sensible rules:-

  • Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and encourage your child to do the same, help your child to wait until a piece of equipment if free and the other person has moved 2m away before using it. 

  • Some activities may include climbing so please make sure to remain close by to assist your child at all times. 

  • Please remove children's socks and shoes - adults please remove shoes

  • Should you or you child need a drink at any time during the session please move to the personal possessions area to have a drink.

  • No food is permitted to be consumed in the hall and no personal possessions or drink to be taken to the equipment areas. 

 

These sessions are a good way of introducing your child to fun movement from an early age, not only may it help to develop social and interactive skills for your child, it may also help build confidence ready for when he/she is ready to move on to a school setting.
