Little Bugs Club FAQs
Q: What do they need to wear?
Participants should dress appropriately for physical activity, our sessions are well ventilated in line with COVID guidelines so in cooler months layers are useful as they will get warm during the session but may start cold and feel cooler in our seated sections of the class.
In warmer weather shorts and t-shirt are perfect, leggings and tracksuit bottoms are also acceptable. Denim, dresses and skirts are not appropriate as they can be restrictive to movement and get caught up in equipment. Please ensure that long hair is tied back, with no hard hair bands. No jewellery is allowed. All children must have bare feet (no socks) to ensure that the risk of slipping is minimised.
Q: What are the term dates?
Little Bugs Club classes runs on a termly basis which is parallel to the schools term time dates.
Q: How long does a term last?
Most terms are 6 weeks long.
Q: Do I need to stay with my child?
In a Little Bugs Club class the parent is actively involved in the class and must stay with their child throughout the session.
The session leader is available at all times any questions or queries before during and after the session.
Q: Do I need to book?
All participants are required to register for the class in advance of a block. One weeks prior to the end of a block, priority registration is available to those currently participating in a block. Thereafter spaces left in classes will be filled from children on the waiting list / opened up to the general public. To secure your child’s place in the class, please book in advance to avoid any disappointment.
